This blog is simply smashing. In my humble opinion of course. As this post is rather debatable I don't think all your blog visitors are going to agree with it.

So glad you summized this! I kept watching the previews thinking, "What the heck is this movie about?" Sounds really great! It sounds like something I'd do for my family if I knew I only had so much time to live. And praise God that isn't the case because I plan to live to be 80+ years old, healthy, vibrant, and alive.

I LOVE this movie. Diane Keaton is brilliant in this movie. Her spastic behavior, which she is known for, fits beautifully in this film. A fast paced, work-a-holic, has everything she has ever wanted, then out of nowhere a baby is thrown into her life and everything becomes chaos. But through that chaos, she discovers that she had been missing out on life and that fame and riches simply weren't enough to make one happy--there truly was more to life than working, status, and prestige. Of course she has to go through major trials and financial losses along the way, but in the end, she gets the baby, a new man in her life (who also happens to be yummy) and a great sense of accomplishment because she now knows who she is!
